Abstract: For a long time, China’s carpet industry has been export-oriented. The paper analyzes China’s import and export of carpet during the 12th“Five-year Plan” period (2011 — 2015). It analyzes the trade volume and prices of the Chinese carpet industry, the main categories of import export products, as well as the export destinations and import suppliers, and also forecasts the future development of China’s carpet industry. It is predicted that China’s export of carpet will increase further in the coming three years, while import keep unchanged or even decrease, and the average export price will further go down.
