Abstract: In this article, five kinds of woven fabrics and four kinds of knitted fabrics were selected for being used as combat uniform fabric, and then the physical performance and thermal performance of these fabrics were tested respectively. Meanwhile a comprehensive analysis was carried out for the data obtained based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method and the proportion of each fabric was calculated. The result shows that the woven fabric of 2# and knitted fabric of 4# are more suitable for combat uniform. In the end, the overall performance would be improved by the method patching knitted fabric in appropriate part of combat uniform.
