The Antibacterial Effect of Microwave-synthesized Nano Silver to Down

Abstract: A new down antibacterial deodorizing process by using nano-silver synthesized with the assistance of microwave was studied. By using the method of single variable control, the optimum conditions of the antibacterial test such as with the most suitable microwave radiation time, the best mass ratio of the nano material and down, the radiation temperature, and the radiation power were studied. Meanwhile,the experiment on recycling nano-silver was done, with which the variation of the sterilization rate of the recycled materials was discovered. The results reveal the optimum antibacterial conditions: radiation time 5 min, the mass ratio between silver and down is 3:1, radiation temperature 50 ℃, radiation power 300 W, the best antibacterial effect is 88.02%. The best antibacterial rate fell slightly with the increasing number of use of nanometer antibacterial agent. The nano-silver can be regenerated repeatedly at least two times.
