Abstract: Handicraft is a culture that dances on fingertips. The long-established Chinese traditional handicrafts combine smartly natural materials with human wisdom. China has a long history and rich cultural deposits. Numerous classic handicraft techniques have passed down from generation to generation. These techniques that have survived various challenges are representations and records of the essences of Chinese culture which has gone through diversified development for thousands of years. They are the fruits of human wisdom and they are living things. There are always those craftsmen and designers who cannot help loving and learning these techniques, and inheriting, developing and passing down them.
