Abstract: Conventional spunlaid production has become more value-added, while functional and durable spunbond nonwovens become more popular. Great progress has been made on spunlaid technology,which is reflected in higher speed and efficiency, composite functions, production flexibility as well as the development and applications of revolutionary technologies. By introducing the properties and applications of some durable spunbond nonwovens, including high-specific surface nonwovens, elastic spunbond nonwovens, products based on profiled fibers, products based on biomass polymers, spunbond nonwovens based on superfine fibers, etc., this paper tries to offer certain reference for developing high value-added spunlaid nonwovens.
