Abstract: Warping is an important step of weaving preparation and it is decisive to the quality of fabric. But up to now, less effort has been made to studying metallic yarn warping. This paper particularly probes into metallic yarn warping machine and it development status-quo. It first introduces the requirements on metallic yarn warping process and the two integral parts of warping machine, and then analyzes the characteristics of both rectangular and V-shape warp creels for metallic yarn warping and also explains the configuration principle of the warping machine and the yarn layer tension control principle. It finally sums up the statusquo and developing trend of metallic yarn warping machine at home and abroad.
