Abstract: Inclusiveness of jeans wear makes jeans culture last for more than 150 years and painted design has been combined with jeans wear for more than 70 years. Currently, it is evolved into unconventional jeans image of variable styles. This paper introduced classification, features and developing trend of printing process of jeans wear. For example, traditional processes include block-printing, hand painting, rubbing, discharge printing, coat overprinting, transfer calendar, flocking and burnt-out printing and modern processes include digital printing and laser carving. The combination of these printing processes with jeans wear offers new visual feast and popular theme for jeans wear of 100 years under mutual integration of the classic with the modern.
