Abstract: As a traditional industry, the knitting industry needs to transform and enhance its vitality under the current tough economic environment. The knitting technologies emerging in the Internet era were presented in this paper, such as intelligent knitting equipment, intelligent knitting production systems, e-commerce and intelligent knitted products, etc. A novel idea for the development of knitting industry and even textile industry was raised here which has certain significance to the strategic transformation of the industry.
