Abstract: With the rising of people’s living and consumption standard, traditional denim wear can no longer satisfy consumers’ needs. So developing fashionable, functional and high-end denim wear is an inevitable trend. The paper introduces the new characteristics of various denim fabrics such as stretch denim fabric, slubby denim fabric, extra-light denim fabric, functional denim fabric and colorful denim fabric.
