Abstract: A new pretreatment and dyeing process was developed by Lenzing and Novozymes, which allowed standard TENCEL^® to be used in knitted fabric. Through the new process, deaeration, bio-polishing and dyeing of TENCEL^®/cotton knitted fabric could be carried out in one bath. Compared with the traditional three-bath process, the new process had the advantage of production efficiency, energy conservation and pollution reduction.
