Photocatalytic Degradation of Cr ( VI ) on CNTs/La3+ Doped TiO2 Nanofibers

2015年12月22日

Abstract: A series of nanofibers, including carbon nanotubes(CNTs)-doped and CNTs/La3+co-doped TiO2 nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning. With heavy metal Cr(VI)as the target degradation product, the effects of CNTs doping , La3+ doping and CNTs co-doping as well as the initial pH value of degradation on the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 were studied. The results showed that the photocatalytic activity of the prepared CNTs-doped TiO2 was higher than that of pure TiO2, and the proper amount of La3+/CNTs codoping further improved the photocatalytic activity of TiO2. The ideal doped content was 15% CNTs and 0.05% La3+. The degradation rate of Cr(VI)could reach 99.86% under visible light irradiating 100 min when the CNTs/La3+ co-doped TiO2 was 1.0 g/L, the initial Cr(VI)concentration was 10mg/L and pH was 4.
