Abstract: Driven by the concept of lean production, a survey was conducted and by which we found out that in practical production, the weaving efficiency of fabric in same specifications varies according to different process configurations on air-jet loom. Based on analyzing the ratio of fabric variety and quantity, the paper made an approach to further improving the weaving efficiency of air-jet looms through increasing the number of heddle frame, changing the way of heddle drafting and reducing energy consumption of the loom.
