Effect of Relative Viscosity of PA6 on the Structure and Properties of PA6/LDPE Island-in-the-sea Composite Fiber

2015年9月9日

Abstract: A group of PA6/LDPE matrix-fibril (island-in-the-sea) fibers were prepared with melt-spinning process by using PA6 chips of three different relative viscosities and LDPE, which were poly-blended according to five different blending ratios and based which, the influence of different relative viscosities and different PA6/LDPE blending ratios on the spinning process conditions as well as the morphological structure and mechanical properties of the PA6/LDPE island-in-the-sea fibers was investigated. The results show that with the increase of PA6 relative viscosity and its ratio in the poly-blended fiber, it is necessary to increase the spinning temperature; and the breaking strength of the blended fiber will increase along with the increase of PA6’s ratio and relative viscosity.
