Abstract: In this study, mechanical properties of warp knitted nets were evaluated by using experiment and observation methods. Results show that both the net shape and the fineness of yarn have influences on the bursting and tensile properties of the resultant warp knitted nets, and fabric mechanical properties decrease when there is yarn breakage. In addition, observation shows that net shape also affects bursting process.
