Abstract: This paper introduces the causes and harm of electrostatic generated in the carding process of modified polyester fiber and meanwhile, it points out that the effect of the electrostatic can be controlled by taking a series of measures, such as changing blending ratio, rationally using oil agent for humidification to ensure temperature and humidity environment, optimizing carding needle gauge, selecting proper card clothing and using high-efficiency suction system.
