Fibers, the noble ones in particular, are back as protagonists to the 57^th edition of Filo. The choice of the organizers stems from the consideration that effective sustainability and traceability of products can only be achieved from a supply chain perspective

Of course, when we talk about noble fibers, we must talk about linen. This is why the European Confederation of Linen and Hemp/Celc is present at the 57^th edition of Filo.

The European Confederation of Flax and Hemp/CELC is the only agro-industrial organization federating all the stages of production and transformation of flax and hemp – 10.000 enterprises across 14 European countries. Founded in 1951, CELC represents the federative authority of linen industry in the world. The 80% of global flax production comes from the cultivations of a coastline in Western Europe.

At the 57th edition of Filo, CELC presents in its space innovative yarns, mélange, hybridizations and textile applications in European linen fibre. The mission of CELC is focused on innovative and environmental qualities of linen fibres, guaranteed by traceability certifications European Flax^® and Masters of Linen^® and promoted to professionals and consumers with the campaign “Amo il lino”. In Paris and in Milan, the Linen Dream Lab represents an essential access of creations in different fashion fields and interior decoration. Thanks to its multichannel strategy oriented to the international, CELC stimulates the innovation.

At Filo no. 57, CELC will also be the protagonist of one of the “Dialoghi di Confronto” held in the Networking Area of Filo during the two days of the fair.

The “Dialogo di Confronto” (February 23, 4 pm) - “Il lino, la fibra europea principale attore della transizione ecologica” - will be led by Ornella Bignami (Strategic Partner of CELC), in a dialogue with Adolfo Mandato (Safilin), Carlo Antonio Danzo (Danzo srl), and Silvia Emanuela Danzo (Danzo srl).
