According to customs statistics, in the first three quarters, China's textile and apparel exports amounted to US$ 215.78 billion, seeing year-on-year growth of 9.4% (in CNY-denominated terms, up 12.3%), 6.2 percentage points higher than that of the first half of 2020. Thereinto, the exports of textiles totaled US$ 117.95 billion, with year-on-year growth of 33.7% (in CNY-denominated terms, up 37.5%), maintaining high growth; the exports of apparel reached US$ 97.83 billion, down 10.3% year-on-year (in CNY-denominated terms, down 8.1%).

In September, China's textile exports were US$ 13.15 billion, up 36.0% year-on-year (in CNY-denominated terms, up 34.7%). Although the growth rate has dropped from the previous few months, the overall growth rate of China's textile exports remained high in the second and third quarters. And apparel exports were US$ 15.23 billion, up 6.5% year-on-year (in CNY-denominated terms, up 5.3%), maintaining a positive growth for two consecutive months. At present, the relatively stable supply chain of China's textile industry is also attracting some overseas orders to back to China's market.
