According to the General Administration of Customs, in July, China imported 16 million meters of cotton cloth, increased by 5.29% month-on-month and decreased by 34.42% year-on-year; the exports of cotton cloth were 654 million meters, seeing a month-on-month increase of 17.70% and a year-on-year decrease of 1.55%. The net exports were 637 million meters, grew by 18.06% month-on-month.

From January to July 2020, the exports of China's cotton cloth totaled over 3.51 billion meters, down 24.77% year-on-year; while the imports of cotton cloth were 104 million meters, down 38.89% year-on-year.
