Abstract: Bamboo pulp fiber, as an eco-friendly and biodegradable regenerated cellulose fiber, exhibits excellent natural antibacterial properties. Long-staple cotton is renowned for its softness, fineness, and superior luster, making it a key raw material for high-end apparel fabrics. To fully leverage the complementary advantages of these two fibers, this study developed a 14.8 tex combed long-staple cotton/bamboo pulp fiber (60/40) blended yarn using low-torque spinning technology. The paper systematically outlines critical process control measures across key production stages, including blowing, carding, drawing, roving, spinning, and winding. And then successfully produced a blended yarn with excellent quality indicators and a soft, comfortable hand feel.
