Abstract: The flat-knitted sports casual coat is not only comfortable to wear but also well-shaped, fulfilling people's desires for comfort, fashion, and personalization. The paper discusses the current research on flatknitted sports casual coats and examines various process technologies, including functional and decorative techniques. Then the paper analyzes the characteristics of the forming process and garment effect by taking three examples of flat-knitted sports casual coats, namely windproof hooded jackets, cycling stand-up collar jackets, and golf vests. This is done by combining the developed flat-knitted sports and leisure jackets at the same time. In the end, the paper looks forward to the development trend of flat-knitted sports casual jackets in terms of full forming, functionalization, greening and intelligence.
