Abstract: Regarding the problems of threadbare and uneven colors on the digital printed cotton sanded fabric, the study elaborates on the influence of the pretreatment process on the printing effect. The results show that strengthening the degree of scouring and bleaching in pretreatment improves the capillary effect, permeability, and fabric surface evenness; adopting the sanding and shearing process can obtain short and dense fuzzy piles on the fabric, and the threadbare after washing are greatly reduced; cotton sanded fabrics pretreated by DT-ML paste can get better permeability and higher evenness after digital printing, greatly improving the quality of digital printed products.
