Abstract: Fully-fashioned knitting technology has been widely used in sportswear as for no side seams, single-piece, and high production efficiency. Fully-fashioned knitting technologies are divided into warp knitting, circular weft knitting, and flat knitting. The related principles and characteristics are introduced. Based on actual needs, using different knitting techniques with specific raw materials can develop sportswear with good performance, fully-fashioned knitted sportswear, knitted compression socks, fully-fashioned knitted vamp as well as composite sports equipment such as golf clubs, rackets, boats, etc. based on knitting technology. In the end, the paper also analyzes the advantages of the current fully-fashioned technology compared with the conventional technology, and looks forward the prospects for the application of fullyfashioned technology for knitted sportswear.
