Abstract: Full of Mongolian traditional spirit and inspired by conventional ideas, Mongolian costumes are direct representation of Mongolian culture. Mongolian costumes, as one of the principal symbols of Mongolian folk culture, are experiencing an evolution process of changing from complicated to simple and coping with contemporary social culture. Ultimately, in the development of history, the unique Mongolian culture can be inherited and carried forward through retaining some elements that can reflect both visual and connotative features of the Mongolian culture.
