Abstract: By probing into the creative presentations of patchwork in pattern design, fabric texture and decoration in the reinvention process of apparel fabric, the paper tries to emphasize that in recreating apparel fabric with the art of patchwork, the designed work should reflect the seamless combination of individual creative idea with craftsmanship and the effective integration of traditional culture and fashion elements, so that this traditional art can regain its vitality and demonstrate its glamour in apparel fabric reinvention as well as in garment design and people’s lifestyle.
