Abstract: Costume is an important part of national culture. Dancing costumes can help performers show their graceful figures and give intuitive images to audience, delivering a clear signal in a silent way. They are not only the symbols of local culture, but also the integral part of dancing culture, and also capable of reflecting the connotations of multiple cultures. The paper mainly discusses the designing of both traditional national costume and national dancing costume and the correlation between the two.
