Abstract: This paper expounded the features of clothing patterns which have complex dividing lines, analyzed the relationship between “scale” and “silhouette” in pattern grading, and summed up the three methods for related pattern grading, including “specification-oriented method”, “same-angle method” and “gather-parts-into-a-whole method”. It provides a strong technical guarantee for more accurately and quickly grading clothing patterns with complex dividing lines.
