Exploration on Tri-proof Finishing of High Temperature Resistant Filter Fabric

Abstract: The high temperature resistant polyester/Liquid crystal polyarylate filter fabric was finished by tri-proof finishing agent to investigate the influences of finishing liquid concentration, curing temperature and curing time on the water proof and oil resistant of filter fabric. The primary sequence of affecting factors and the optimum process was determined by orthogonal design. The contact angle and air permeability of filter fabric were measured. The comprehensive evaluation method was used. The indexes of contact angle and air permeability were added to arrive at a standard score. It was concluded that the primary sequence was finishing liquid concentration, curing temperature and curing time. The optimum process of tri-proof finishing was obtained as the finishing liquid concentration 25 g/L, curing temperature 180℃ and the curing time 1.5 min.
