Abstract: By using the Response Surface Methodology, the paper analyzes the effect of yarn linear density and twister factor on yarn residual torque and torque. Based on analyzing response surface and contour curve, a quantitative equation for response surface is obtained, offering reference for optimizing the relation between yarn linear density and twist factor.
