Abstract: This article describes the application of paper pattern technology in the production process of sweater collars. The influence of different stitch structures on the collar knitting process was analyzed, the methods for turning paper pattern into collar knitting process were investigated, the process lists and programs were given and collared sweaters were knitted. It points out that the sweater collar knitting process developed according to the shape and size of paper pattern is accurate and can reduce the number of sampling and improve production efficiency. It is viable to apply paper pattern technology to sweater collar knitting process, so as to provide guidance to the production of sweater collars and diversified collar styling to meet the fashion trend on market.
