Abstract: This article proposed the quantity limit of installed staple fiber spindles both for China and for the world and discussed the characteristics of three market stages based on the limit and related applications.The capacity limit defines a clear boundary for the development of the spinning industry and draws a clearer map for future development. Drawing a limit for installed spindles can offer theoretical support to the stipulation of macro industry policies and help textile machinery enterprises work out their product and market strategies. Based on the limit, it is also possible to estimate the capacity limits of other sectors such as shuttle-less weaving, chemical fiber and printing & dyeing and put them into practical use. On this base, the article also discussed the developing trend of textile machinery market, industry transfer, market and technical features of products, etc.
