Abstract: Over the past few years, as anime & cartoon fashion and DIY concept getting more and more popular in China, DIY culture such as garage kits and cosplay costume have attracted wide attention, especially from the young generation, and developed into a fashion culture. The aim of this study is to offer practical foundation for the designing of anime & cartoon products, cosplay costume and related DIY products, promote the development of new anime & cartoon figures and their derived products and promote the interdisciplinary integration of anime & cartoon design with fashion design.
