Since the beginning of 2020, aiming at the high-quality development of the textile and garment industry, the people's government of Aksu Xinjiang has focused on project construction, investment attraction, providing coordination services, implementing support policies, and optimizing the business environment. The textile and apparel industry has made steady progress. And the textile and apparel industry in Aksu has formed 4.59 million spindles production capability and 120 million meters of weaving fabrics, basically forming the entire industrial chain.

Up to now, there are 481 textile and apparel enterprises registered in the region, including 66 spinning enterprises, 28 weaving enterprises, 1 printing and dyeing enterprise, 189 home textiles and apparel enterprises. In the new year, the Aksu area will focus on the construction of cotton yarn bases. Based on the existing foundation in the region, the Aksu area will further improve the production capability of spinning, actively introduce and develop blended spinning, chemical fiber spinning, so as to cultivate new advantages of the industry.
